A national food distribution corporation in Denver Tech Center is searching for a sharp Accounting Clerk with recent SAGE 300/ Timberline software experience to join their Accounting Department. This candidate should be detailed oriented with a proven track record of accurately managing all aspects of an organization accounting systems and delivering accurate financial reports on a timely basis.

Responsibilities:
• Maintain all the Organizations accounting and financial records using Sage 300
• Maintain GL accounts, prepare Journal Entries and prepare monthly P & L's and B/S
• Cash reconciliation of daily sales deposits and merchant charges to bank accounts
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables
• Calculate and audit Bonuses and commissions
• Manage payroll garnishments and terminations through Paylocity.
• Prepare Federal, State and local sales tax statements and filings
• Assist in preparation of 1099 forms.
• Prepare monthly financial reports
• Manage Benefits and enrollment
• Maintain all business and liquor licenses


Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferably accounting
• 3-5 years relevant experience with cash reconciliation, GL and AP/AR
• General knowledge of GAAP
• Proficient in Excel and Sage 300 required
• Working experience with Paylocity preferred
• Knowledge of Micros and Rosnet
