Denver’s Snow Response Continues

With light snow showers expected to linger today, Denver’s snowplow drivers will remain on duty to address the city’s main streets, clearing snow and dropping deicer as needed. Denver’s Department of Transportation and Infrastructure (DOTI) is encouraging drivers to go slowly, as roads are wet and could be slick in spots and to continue to use caution on bridges and overpasses.

Broncos Fans Encouraged to Allow for Extra Travel Time Sunday

Denver is making pedestrian safety improvements on Federal Boulevard a few blocks north of Empower Field at Mile High. This work requires a temporary travel configuration between W. 23rd and W. 26th Avenues offering one vehicle travel lane in each direction (north and south). Given this work in the area, DOTI is encouraging game-goers to allow for extra time and to consider alternate forms of transportation and alternate routes, including approaching the stadium from the south.

Also, a reminder that there’s a residential parking program in place around the stadium, requiring a permit to park in many areas, so we encourage people to read the signs posted on the block and avoid areas where a permit is required to avoid being subject to a citation or tow.
