#Arvada Labor for Fence Construction

We are looking for individuals who can think and work on their own. The duties and responsibilities of a laborer are all geared toward maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site while also supporting the overall project. These duties include but are not limited to: cleaning and preparing construction sites; loading and unloading materials and equipment; following instructions from supervisors and implementing construction plans.
Requirements:
Must be legal to work in the United States.
Must have fencing experience.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to be insured.
Must be able to work irregular hours as needed.
Must be able to speak and understand English enough to be able to communicate with others.
Must have basic mathematical and construction skills to be able to measure length and width.
Ability to operate forklifts, skid steers and other mechanical equipment a plus.
Safety:
Safety is of the utmost importance.
Must maintain awareness of all areas in the construction yard including but not limited to material
storage, equipment placement, trip hazards, etc. Take corrective action immediately if unsafe
conditions are found.
Assist and train employees on proper loading of trailers.
Follow all safely procedures for respirators, dust masks, gloves, face shields, and P.P.E.
Correct all unsafe conditions in the yard and report any conditions that are not correctable to your
supervisor immediately.
Working Conditions:
Moderate walking, standing, climbing, heavy lifting, carrying, stooping, bending, kneeling, and
reaching.
Work outside and inside, around moving objects, vehicles, and machinery with moving parts.
Exposed to heat, cold, dampness and humidity, chemicals, exhaust fumes, gasoline, and diesel fuel.
