#Denver Directional Drill Operator

Duties:
• Get crew started with good plan
• Lead crew of 3-4 people
• Make sure utility locates have been completed
• Pothole utilities in bore path
• Establish run line for bore
• Operate/locate HDD equipment
• Assist labor crew / assign tasks
• Vehicle and equipment maintenance
• Keep crew productive on job site
• Haul trailers / rigs to site
• Provide training and assistance to coworkers
• Splice conduit if needed
• Fuse conduit if needed
• Mix mud
• Keep accurate daily logs and bore logs

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license
• Ready to learn new processes
• Have a good attitude
• Self-motivated with a good work ethic
• Ability to work outdoors during all seasons of the year
• Ability to lift/carry up to 80lbs.
• Must work well with others
• Experience operating/locating HDD
• Experience drilling rock, back reaming, and locating
• Ability to read job plans/prints
• Ability to call 811 utility locates

Pluses:
• Bilingual
• Wants to advance in company
