Skid Steer Operator/Light Equipment Operator

HCG Construction is seeking an experienced Light Equipment Operator with experience on construction infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate is able to run a variety of equipment on jobsites – with a specialty in skid steers. Additional knowledge in running equipment such as excavators and front end loaders is a plus. Crews are welcome.

Qualifications
· 2-3 recent years of experience operating equipment.
· 2 years of experience grading on skid steers.
· Well organized, self-motivated and self-managed.
· This position involves some strenuous physical activity at times under various field and weather conditions
· Applicant must be able to lift, carry, shovel and rake in various weather conditions year-round. Applicant should be able to navigate an active construction site including uneven surfaces, sharp objects, other mobile equipment and other work activities.

Responsibilities
· Self-manage schedule, work load and assigned tasks.
· Maintain grease and clean equipment
· Safely Load, unload and secure equipment.
· Applicant must be able to clearly and thoroughly fill out and turn in paperwork daily.
· Applicant must be able to execute and complete various types of work to the standards of HCG Construction and our clients with little supervision
