Company Field Technicians should expect to be trained and to perform in every service provided by the company. While technicians may generally be assigned one particular service more than others, those assignments are not to be considered exclusive specialties. The same can be said of work shifts (days and/or nights), which are also variable, depending upon customer needs and requirements. All field technicians should consider cross training into a greater number of service skills to be a privilege and a personal asset which enhances their employment value. Even pathways to management positions are likely to include personal experience in most of the Company services offered.

Examples of Company services may include, but are not limited to, Pressure Washing, Window Cleaning, Parking Lot Striping, Awning Cleaning/Sealing, Snow Removal (both plowing and hand shoveling), Sand Blasting, Paint Scraping, Painting, Caulking, Sanding, Water Sealing, Sign and/or Sign Post Removal/Installation, minor mechanical repairs and maintenance, and facility (including Company facilities) general cleaning. Some service may include the use of ladders, personnel lift equipment, extension poles, machinery, and chemicals.

Field technicians are expected on occasion to watch what they eat and drink in anticipation of the possibility of being called into work. This is particularly true regarding snow removal. While management will often advise field technicians of impending weather, it is solely the responsibility of the field technician to be aware of the possibility of snow and ice removal requirements, and to be sober, physically rested, and prepared for working.
